The Sumi Fan - Kaze

This minimal fan uses calligraphic brush strokes to represent the ebb and flow of a summer's breeze; sometimes strong, sometimes soft, but filling an invisible space in our day, even when we don't notice.

The sumi fans are a collab between 200-year-old fan maker Miyawaki Baisenan and Iwaki Honoka, a young calligrapher with an expressive approach to brushwork.
